Having qualified as a solicitor in 2015, Thomas is the Residential Partner at AK Law Solicitors. He deals with all aspects of residential property law, including the purchase and sale of homes, together with both contentious and non-contentious lease extensions, leasehold enfranchisement and deeds of variation.

Alongside his residential work, Thomas also has significant experience in commercial property matters and works closely with local agents and a wide range of clients. Jonathan is an experienced Property Litigation Partner acting primarily for privately owned property investment companies with extensive commercial portfolios. His clients value pragmatism and direct access to a partner who understands their businesses.

His practice covers the full range of contentious property matters involving commercial and residential assets, including development and construction disputes, professional negligence, lease renewals, dilapidations, and tenant claims arising from alleged breaches of covenant. He acts in complex, high-value proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court, as well as at mediation. He advises throughout the dispute process, aiming to prevent issues and, when needed, pursuing or defending claims with a focus on practical, commercially sound, effective outcomes.

Cey qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has developed extensive experience in commercial property law over her career. With more than 17 years of practice, she advises on all aspects of commercial landlord and tenant matters, as well as the acquisition, sale and refinancing of commercial premises. She is known for delivering clear, practical and commercially focused advice, ensuring clients understand each stage of a transaction.
